Job Summary

Overview

The ideal candidate must be an efficient, adaptable, and motivated individual. (S)he must be a reliable team member, follow safety procedures, and handle change well. 

The Residential Solar Consultant will be able to find, approach and sell to solar prospects. This includes primary duties of lead generation, conducting sales appointments and executing client agreements through a hand-off to the Project Manager.

This position offers a competitive base salary and commission schedule commensurate with experience and education. Benefits are competitive.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Target ideal customers

  • Perform preliminary site assessments

  • Identify differentiating factors that create hurdles and opportunities to access the market

  • Develop strategic, active partnerships and identify marketing opportunities

  • Develop client referral program

  • Generate leads

  • Close sales

Skills and Education

  • Must be comfortable climbing a ladder

  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Prior industry experience is a strong plus
